Howdy, I stumbled here through...very obscure googling, let's say.

Thanks for spelling out the difficulty in the post-adoption of your second one.

We're awaiting referral for #2 and have wondered about how the first child will handle the second.

Each child will be different, I suppose.

Anyway, nice photos of the family. I wish we'd thought of your tradition with the referral day photos.

Best wishes.

Oh, and if you follow Gwenblog, you'll see the link to Stephanie V, which links to your T, which is sorta how I ended up here.

Thank you so much for sharing this with us all. You have written so beautifully about your life as a family--the challenges as well as the incredible joy. Your girls are beautiful and vibrant, and seem to grow more so each day! Congratulations on a difficult, wonderful, amazing year home as a family of four!

You are doing an amazing job:)

Sandra, first of all, that picture of Tahlia and Matt is beautiful! I'm getting the idea that you do a lot of photography. All the shots of your family are so great.
Thank you for being so honest about your experiences. You are definitely helping us all out by sharing this. I think we can easily get caught up in the excitement and forget the challenges that we may face. Keep blogging. I look forward to reading your posts and seeing your pictures every day.

Your last few posts have brought tears to my eyes. You are an amazing person and your family is so loving and beautiful.
I consider myself lucky to have been a part of your adoption group. I've learned so much from you.

I think honesty wins over "positive" any day. And, I must say, so does courage, like the courage to write about your experiences. I'm really glad you've taken care of yourself so you could take care of your beautiful family.

Almost one year home....pretty amazing.
