I was at the supermarket with the girls the other day. The girls love sitting in those grocery carts that have the little cars attached to them. They love it, so it makes the grocery shopping a lot easier for mom, so everyone is happy.
As I am making my way through the isles of the store, I see people looking at the girls and smiling at them and at me. Of course I take it to mean: "Oh, your girls are so cute!" I smile back and happily continue my shopping...After a while I notice that people are not just smiling at the girls, they are laughing and giving me some strange looks. I still didn't think anything of it, just assuming people are smiling at the girls, because again, they are pretty cute. Finally a very nice gentleman stops me and says: "Do you know your girls are playing with your lipstick??" Lipstick??? It turned out that I had my purse sitting in between the girls and they had taken out my lipstick and were making themselves look pretty. I should have noticed that they were being WAY too quiet! I was so upset that I didn't have my camera, because I could have had some great pictures of the girls with lipstick all over their faces! No wonder people were smiling at them and looking at me like I was a completely oblivious mom!!
