My baby is sick. She has not been acting like herself lately, and a couple of nights ago she started coughing so bad, that she honestly sounded like a dog barking. Every time she coughs like that, she has a hard time catching her breath. She has been running a fever and she has been wheezing...
I took her to the pediatrician this morning, but everything looked fine; it's just a virus. You obviously don't want anything to be wrong with your child, but I was hoping they would tell me it was something they could treat to make her feel better.
I hate seeing my girl suffer, but there is nothing I can do except making sure she gets enough rest and plenty of fluids...
My lil Mickey has the same thing. We got him on meds (Albuterol & Pulmicort) and on top of that he has a upper respitory infection.

so sorry Tahlia is not feeling well. She sounds like she has the same croup virus Maddy had. It was awful I tell you! We did lots of fluids and baby vicks rubs (chest, back, feet) for a full week to try and help that cough. Hopefully Tahlia can fight it better and will be back to herself VERY soon!

Oh poor little Tahlia. I feel so bad for her. That cough is just horrid. Tons of kids are going around down here with the same thing.

We are sorry you are sick. Amelia had a virus like that last month and it was yucky. She is sick too:( She and half the kids in her class are out with strep. She's not feeling too bad though, so I think we caught it in time.
We hope you feel better soon! Try Vicks Vapo Rub on the feet and then put socks on...worked for us.
