When I told Jazzie that today was the last day of 2008, her response was: "Oh man, I don't want it to be the last day of 2008. I am having fun with it; 2008 was a good year for me". LOL - I am glad that despite everything she has had to go through, Jazzie still believes that 2008 was a good year for her.
As for Tahlia when being asked what she thought about tomorrow being the start of 2009: "Does that mean we are going to die"?
Where do they get this stuff???
We will be celebrating New Year's Eve with some local Dutch families. Since we all have small children, we will ring in the New Year at 6 PM, which is midnight in Holland. We will have some good Dutch food and refresh our Dutch language skills ;-)
Happy New Year everyone.
Love the new look!! Best wishes for a happy and healthy 2009!!!!

So glad to hear what Jazzie said about how 2008 was a good year for her, you are so right to say that despite what she went through. Tahlia cracks me up with her reply, haha!
Jazzie looks so grown-up in these pics and Tahlia is ever so sweet. I love your girls! Somehow I wish so hard that I still can see their pictures when they are 17 and beyond, I'd love to follow them through their years of growing up... silly me, you would still be posting about them right? I hope, really really hope to still see their pictures... Thanks for sharing your girls with us! :)

Hi.
Your blog is just lovely. I've visited before but it's been a number of months. Your girls are just beautiful and look so happy and sweet.
I wanted to see what you think of "typepad" web services. Are you satisfied? I'm on blogger but am thinking of switching over...primarily because of how long it takes to download pictures and lack of display options.....and was wondering how much you like typepad...(is that the same thing as WordPress)?
Thanks and Happy New Year.
