The other day I was driving home and I passed this field:
Sunflowers as far as I could see. So today after Jazzie's eye doctor's appointment, I drove back there to show it to the girls. I wanted to take some pictures, but the girls were more interested in the park and the playground across the street than the sunflowers ;-)
I would like to go back and take some more pictures, but this time a bit later in the day when the sun isn't so high in the sky. These pictures were taken around 1:30 PM and it was bright. And hot. And there was a playground across the street that the girls couldn't wait to go to. Hopefully I will be able to make it back there soon...

Beautiful! I pass that very park and sunflowers quite often.

We saw many fields like that when we were in France a few years ago. I've got a great picture of my nieces in a sunflower field like you now do of your girls.

Mia would love to live next to that field. We planted a garden and she wanted to grow sunflowers also. We just never got to the store. That field is beautiful. The pictures came out great.

Oh Sandra, that park is right next to my street. If you come back, let me know and we'll come over and see you!
Aren't they the best? I love them and Kate talks to them every day. "Good morning Sunflowers!!!"
