Friday was a very rainy day; a perfect day for a project! We've done this particular project several times before, but the girls love it!
The girls got all of their broken crayons together so that they could melt them into new ones.

This project was perfect for the concept of reducing, reusing and recycling. Jazzie was very excited about recycling the papers:

After about 15 minutes in a warm oven, the crayons melted into nice, new, shiny ones!
