Since we were so busy in July, we never got to have a birthday party for the girls. However, tomorrow we have 12 girls coming over for a spa party and it should be a lot of fun.
Jazzie's BFF Sophie came over this evening so that these two can have a sleepover before the party tomorrow. For those of you that haven't been reading my blog since the beginning: Sophie and Jazzie have been friends since they were 18 months old and were paired up at Ohio Valley Voices. Even though both have transitioned into their own school districs, we try to get them together as much as we can.
I also made the girls' birthday cakes for tomorrow. Jazzie wanted a chocolate cake and Tahlia wanted a yellow cake (of course agreeing on the same flavor would have been too easy!).

And Jazzie's cake just kind of came to me since she loves Junior Mints and I had this ribbon in my junk drawer :-)

You should post Jazzie's cake on Pinterest. It is so pretty that Erin asked me to make one for her. Especially once she found out that the dots were Junior Mints - her faves.
