Last night Winnie made hot pot for us. We went to the Asian grocery store to shop for all the ingredients. At one point Jazzie came up to me and whispered: "Mom, you're the only blond person here". Lol...
Hot pot is basically an Asian fondue. We have a special pot with a divider that holds two kinds of broth (a mild and a spicy one). You then take all kinds of yummy stuff like thinly sliced meats, mushrooms, vegetables, wontons, dumplings, fish cakes, tofu, etc. and cook it in the broth at the table. It's delicious!
Matt and I helped Winnie chop the ingredients (there's LOTS of chopping involved!)
