Words to live by...what an important thing to remember.

What a great post. Being a mom is really, really hard sometimes - I don't think anyone can fully comprehend the overwhelming feelings that come with being a mother unless you have been there yourself. I personally think working outside of the home is easier - even when you have "Mom work" to come home to after. I've done both and being a stay at home mom is harder for me (no offense to those who choose to work outside the home). Having someone take your kids so your mind can get a break can be a huge gift. Having someone else do the laundry, clean your house, or make a meal is right up there too. Sandra, what a great friend you are. Thanks again for your "real" posts.

Aw, that was so sweet of you! I hope your friend is feeling better now!

You are a good friend......
I went through a rough spot due to a prolonged physical illness which coincided with my spouse's work travel....One of the most helpful things a friend did was to come to my house and deal w/ the piles of laundry and stacks of dishes that needed dealt with....while I slept...

Being a Mom is not always easy...especially with a 4 month old who doesn't sleep through the night.

You are such a great friend....I am sure that your gesture made her day. Knowing you are not alone is half the battle and support from a friend who has been through this is probably just what she needed!

You are such a good friend. I bet that hug & the flowers meant the world to your friend. Talk about "reach out & touch someone."

Sandra you are such a great friend! Taking care of each other is what will get us through.

This brought tears to my eyes because I've been there twice this week. Amelia is testing me like she hasn't since those first months together and some days I doubt that I am strong enough to get through it. Thank you for reminding me that this to will pass!

Lorraine Irvine-Roberts

you are a wonderful person/friend/mom:)

You're an incredible person and clearly an incredible friend. You are an amazing role model for your daughters and this world would be a better place if more people acted as you did today.

What a great friend you are, Sandra! I'm sure your kind gesture really lifted the spirits of an overwhelmed mom.
